Grand Finalists at L’oreal Colour Trophy Awards
We’re so excited to announce that we have made it through to the
London Grand Final of L’oreal Colour Trophy Awards 2017
We’re so proud to have placed first at the Backstage Live Final last night at Aston Villa Stadium. This means we are now one of only four regional salons, out of the thirty-six regional finalists to make it through to the Grand Final in London on the 5th June.
L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award is the our industry’s most prestigious and fashion fuelled hairdressing competition, hosted by L’oreal Professional.
Our team were put through their paces at the Backstage Live Final, having to create a live model look that demonstrated an awareness of Autumn/Winter 2017/18 hair and fashion trends as outlined in L’oreal’s brief. The model had to look original, modern and inspirational. The team of judges, including industry icons Trevor Sorbie and Sophia Hilton, were looking for a trend-setting, show stopping total look that could inspire clients and hairdressers.
We’re absolutely ecstatic to have made it through to the Grand Final. We’ve been regional finalists for 7 years running now, so we’re so happy and proud to have made it all the way to the Grand Final and to be in with a chance of winning Colour Trophy. Massive congratulations and a big thank you to our incredible team of Colour Specialists Tom and Georgie for all their hard work. They have been working for months, from our initial photoshoot entry back in February to the Backstage Finals last night, to make sure that their look was perfect, creating a head-turning copper colour and on-trend look.

We also want to congratulate Ali and Phoebe for making it to the Backstage Final and producing a gorgeous model. You did us proud.
We’re very fortunate to have such a talented team who are a credit to Love the Salon. They are truly an inspiration.
