Award Winning Beauty Team 2011
We’ve gone platinum and we’re not talking about our hair colour… Love the salon hair and beauty group can now proudly add “award winning beauty team” to their growing list of achievements.
At the Thalgo Brand Awards, held in London on the 7th of May, Love the Salon was recognized as one of the top 5 beauty salons in the UK, as well as becoming a Platinum Salon with Marine Skincare Brand Thalgo, Senior Therapist Kelly Brown was announced runner up Thalgo Therapist of the year and given the honor of becoming Thalgo Ambassador. Kayleigh Rigby was named in the top 10 Thalgo therapists; it has been one eventful weekend!
Love the Salon beauty manager Charlotte Lyttle Joyce, nominated Kelly Brown & Kayleigh Rigby for having huge amounts of passion for the Thalgo treatments and products and seeing fantastic results from their clients.
“I was incredibly proud and pleased when it was announced that Kelly was named as a Highly Commended Therapist and to go on to be a Thalgo Ambassador and Kayleigh was named in the top ten Thalgo therapists. It is so important for great therapists’ to be recognized for their passion and high standards, so for us to have two industry recognized therapist in our salon, is just fantastic! When we were also named as one of Thalgo’s top 5 salons in the UK and given the Platinum award, it just topped the day off!”
Kelly Brown, 25 from Quedgley, who is based in the Gloucester branch of Love the Salon was overjoyed as the results came in at the Metropolitan Hotel in London.
“I have been working with the amazing Thalgo brand, here, at Love the Salon for 3 years and feel very honoured to be recognised as a highly commended therapist by such a prestigious company. Being given the opportunity to represent Thalgo and the salon as an ambassador makes me feel very proud and I can’t wait to attend the first specialist training course in London.” Said Kelly.
After a gruelling few months of completing application forms, working out sales figures, producing treatment videos and promoting the brand, thankfully all the hard work had not gone unnoticed.
The afternoon awards ceremony took place at the Metropolitan Hotel in London on 7th May, hosted by Marian Green, Managing Director of Thalgo and Ex England cricketer Andrew Flintoff. Then onto a ball at the Grosvenor House Hotel to celebrate the achievements of all the winners!
