Empress Autumn Winter 2011 collection
The Empress collection embraces dark glamour and strong iconic influences originally inspired by cult films ‘The Hunger’ and ‘Blade runner’ and the femmes fatales of the 1940’s sequential art of ‘The Spirit’, creating a powerful beautiful woman that is ‘more deadly than the male’.
We used a colour palette of deep molasses brown with the opposite of dark charcoal, frosted cinnamon blonds, burnt amber reds and black amethyst jewel tones when designing the colour for the collection. The styling is strongly linked to the key catwalk looks for Autumn and Winter 2011; Boy meets Girl, Fetish and Studio 54 glamour.
